Karkhana means workshop: the place where things get made by hand, by people who know their craft. That’s what we’re building for founders in Pakistan.
Why a venture builder
Pakistan doesn’t lack talent or ambition. It lacks a place where a capable person can walk in with nothing but drive and walk out 90 days later with a company: an idea worth building, money to build it, people who’ve done it before and a co-founder they trust.
Accelerators help companies that already exist. Incubators give you a desk. Karkhana does neither. We build companies from the ground up, with selected founders as co-founders, inside a 90-day live build.
Why Lahore
Lahore is where Pakistani commerce gets made. It’s home to the country’s biggest fashion houses, a generation of DTC brands, and the founders who built them. The ustads at Karkhana have built here, sold here and know this customer better than anyone.
